Ground Source Heat Pump
Ground source heat pump is a kind of heating and cooling unit to obtain energy from land surface soil, rock, groundwater, rivers, and lakes. It can obtain about 4kw heat by consumption of 1kw electrical energy. Low-temperature geothermal energy refers to the energy contained in the soil layer of 10~100m deep (usually around 7~20 ℃) of the crustal derm with endless thermal energy due to the huge quality of the crust. So ground source heat pump can be widely used for centralized or distributed heating and cooling, hot water supply, bathing, swimming, indoor planting and culturing, etc. all over the country.
Operating Principle By importing the high-grade energy (electricity), the ground source heat pump unit will achieve the transfer from low temperature heat source to high temperature heat source and use hydraulic energy and geothermal energy (rock soil, groundwater, surface water, or soil) for heat and cold exchange as the cold and heat sources of heat pumps. In winter, the unit "takes out of" the geothermal energy for indoor heating as heat source, and in summer, it "takes out of" the indoor heating and releasing to soil, groundwater, and surface water as cold source. Ground source heat pump air conditioner consists of three parts: outdoor heat exchange system, water source heat pump system, and indoor air conditioning terminal, exchanging heat one another through water or air. The medium between water source heat pump and the unit is water and that for the air conditioning terminal can be either water or air. It has been widely applied in hospitals, schools, residential areas, hotels, shopping malls, office buildings, theaters, dining venues, etc.
