ER Collets

Chongde Pre-M ER collets are clamping devices that were created in 2004 and are made in China to DIN6499B. These collets assist with "a variety of machining applications including boring, milling, reaming, tapping, grinding and engraving," according the company's website. Sizes range from the ER 8 to the ER 50.

The T.I.R. (tool indicated runout) maximum length is 0.008mm for the ER collet, while the maximum T.I.R. length for the ER-UP (ultra-precision) is 0.005mm.

Ranges and Compatibility
These ER collets have 16 slot designs that enable them to have a wide clamping range. Diameters for these clamping devices range from1/32 inch to 1-5/16 inch.
