Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose can replace the traditional starch size as fabric finishing agent, it greatly reduces the pollution to environment during sizing and desizing. Moreover, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose can form a film on the fabric, this film is of hygroscopicity , it can enhance the ductility of fabric, reduce the conditions of harness skip and broken ends. As the printing dye in dyeing industry, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose also can strengthen the hydrophilic ability and infiltrability of dyes, make dyeing even and reduce chromatism.
