Solution properties
As the hydrophilic gel, sodium alginate is the prealiling salt of algin, which is apt to from thick solutions(RE. The prevailing salt of thickness and stability, sodium alginate can be used as thickener and stabilizer in foodstuff, and printing paste, oil-extraction agent etc.
Mainly used in textile, dyeing and printing, suitable for cotton, wool, silk, synthetic fiber. During textile printing, Sodium Alginate itself does not attend any chemical reaction with dyestuff & pigment. So all color can easily adhere to the fabric, which we want to printing, with better penetrability.
